Elleree is 5

Elleree turned 5 in January! She has known exactly what she wanted to do for her birthday for a while now. We drive by the Landmark Restaurant every time we go to Billy's shop. Her and Sophie are so intrigued by it. They think it looks so fancy. I suggested she could go there for her birthday - sooo
She put on her favorite Sunday dress and her, Billy, and I had a wonderful dinner together in the "fancy red building". (actually the service was slow and the food not so great, but Elle never noticed)

Grandma and Grandpa were waiting at home with the rest of the gang to finish off the evenings birthday celebration.

My sweet Elleree, I can't believe you are 5! You are such a wonderful part of our family. I always count on you to be my little helper. You are a second mother to little Will. And you give the best hugs. We love you! Happy Birthday!

OOPS!

So apparently, I'm not a very dedicated blogger. Big surprise. But I am committed to making this work. So...here we go.

Sweet Girl

I just love this sweet girl - she's just so nice to me!
It was sure fun to have some quiet time with this little one.
By the way, Elle is "like a professional" at puzzles.

It's Begun

School has begun.
Yeah! and Yuck!
Yeah, because I need my kids to leave this house. It's freak'n hot, my kids are bored, my patience is non existent, and the house feels in constant disarray.

Yuck, because my kids have to leave the house, and I will miss them. I have to wake up early, creatively pack lunches, drive in the heat, and I have no excuse for my house being in constant disarray.

The girls are definitely feeling "YEAH" about school starting. They braved the heat and have had a great first couple of days. I don't know how I managed it, but, I forgot to take pics of the first day (It may have had something to do with the fact that I just can't wake up on time). I was bummed. They are so adorable that first day. Here's some pics of their "School clothes Fashion Show". (thanks grandma P)

Rollie Pollie

Mr. Will, my most immobile child, has had the most injuries of any of my kids.
He suffered a scull fracture before he could even walk or crawl.
Then he acquired two enormous goose eggs. Both in the same spot, and both from falling down steps. These are ucky..... check it out.


This little nugget happened on our front steps. I almost puked. Luckily Billy was home.





This one happened at my sister's house, and resulted in two black eyes.




We do supervise this little guy, I swear we do.

here we go

So, my dreamy sister Cic set up this blog for me. I think she was tired of me blabbing all the time-
"I really should start a blog, the girls would love it."
"I should blog, but I have no idea how to do it."
Blah, blah, blah.
As you can see, she set this up for me a YEAR AGO! (those who know me well, are not surprised...) I am finally committing to getting this thing going. I think it only fitting to present it officially on it's anniversary - Aug. 17th. Here we go!
